WHAT'S IN THE H1N1
VACCINES?And what do the
package inserts say about safety
and efficacy testing?
The U.S.
Federal government purchased vaccines
from Novartis (Switzerland), Sanofi Pasteur
(France), GlaxoSmithKline (UK), CSL (Australia)
and MedImmune (USA). All but the GSK vaccine
have been approved by the FDA as of 10/9/09.
All of the 4 approved vaccines are cultured
on egg and none contain the controversial
squalene-based adjuvants (unless the adjuvants
were secretly added, which would involve
a fairly complex and costly conspiracy
between the 2 adjuvant makers - Novartis
and GSK - the makers of the four injectable
vaccines purchased by the U.S. and elements
within the U.S. government). However,
the CDC says the adjuvants may be added
at a later date in order to stretch the
vaccine supply (the adjuvants help stimulate
an immune response and thus enable less
vaccine antigen - killed virus or virus
fragments - to be used).

8.1
Pregnancy
Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction
studies have not been conducted with Influenza
A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or FLUVIRIN.
It is also not known whether Influenza
A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or FLUVIRIN
can cause fetal harm when administered
to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction
capacity. Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent
Vaccine should be given to a pregnant
woman only if clearly needed.
8.3
Nursing Mothers
It is not known whether FLUVIRIN or Influenza
A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine is excreted
in human milk. Because many drugs are
excreted in human milk, caution should
be exercised when Influenza A (H1N1) 2009
Monovalent Vaccine is administered to
a nursing woman.
